These are sorted by how much you're risking, lowest first. Two things before you scroll:

Change one detail. A copied message reads copied — the tell is that it's about crushes in general rather than about them. Swap in one real thing and the same line becomes something they screenshot.

Pick the level you're actually at. Not the one you think is impressive. A level-one text you send beats a level-four text you delete at 1am.

Barely a hint

Whichever you send, write it so a single emoji is a valid reply.

If your message can only be answered with a real response, you've put them on the spot — and people who feel cornered retreat regardless of how they actually feel. Leave a low-effort exit and you'll get a more honest answer.
