Wedding video editing online — send a link, get back a film
The hardest part of a wedding film isn't the filming — phones and videographers capture plenty — it's that the footage then sits in a folder for years because editing it is a real skill and a real weekend. This service is the missing step: collect everything into one Google Drive/Dropbox/WeTransfer folder, paste the link into a three-minute brief, and a human editor cuts the ceremony, speeches, and dance floor into a colour-graded, music-scored 4K film with your names and date on the titles.
It works for footage from last weekend or from five years ago, from one videographer or thirty guests' phones. Mixed quality is normal — grading and pacing hide more than you'd think.
Your song, your vows, your pacing
A wedding edit lives or dies on three choices: which song carries it, how much of the vows to keep, and where the energy breaks from tears to dance floor. The brief asks for all three. Name your first-dance song or a vibe ('slow build, strings, one big drop for the send-off'), tell us if the vows should run in full or as fragments over the montage, and flag the moments that must survive every cut — the look on a father's face, the friend who cried in the speech. We deliver to licensed music and advise the closest licensed match when a commercial track can't be used.
Highlight reel, standard film, or full cinematic — which tier
The ~45-second Short Cut is the social-media and 'send to everyone' version — one song, the best fifteen moments, no speeches. The ~2-minute Standard film fits the arc of the day: getting ready, ceremony peak, reception energy. The ~4-minute Cinematic edit is the keepsake — multi-scene, vows intercut with reactions, speech fragments, sound design, custom titles; the one you screen on anniversaries. Many couples order a Cinematic for themselves plus a Short Cut for sharing, since both come from the same footage.
Three minutes of brief. Wedding film back in days.
Start your brief — from $35Wedding Video Editing — questions
How do I send my wedding footage?
Upload everything to Google Drive, Dropbox, or WeTransfer and paste the shareable link in the brief. We never ask you to upload huge files here — your link is all we need. Make sure the link is set to 'anyone with the link can view'.
What length and quality do I get?
Every edit is delivered in premium 4K. Length depends on the tier you pick — a Short Cut highlight (~45s), a Standard film (~2 min), or a full Cinematic edit (~4 min, multi-scene). All include music, colour grade, and titles.
How long does a wedding edit take?
Typically 2–6 days depending on the tier and how much footage there is. We confirm a timeline by email right after you order, and you get revision rounds to fine-tune the final cut.
Can you match a specific style or song?
Yes — describe the feel you want (romantic, cinematic, fun) and name a song or vibe in the brief. We work to licensed music; if you have a specific track we'll advise on the best legal way to use it.
We never edited our wedding footage — is years-old raw footage okay?
Very okay, and very common: couples send us drives of ceremony footage that sat untouched since the wedding because editing it felt enormous. Phone clips from guests, the videographer's raw files, mixed resolutions — we sort, sync, and grade it all. A first-anniversary edit of the wedding footage is one of our most-ordered briefs.
Is this cheaper than a videographer's editing package?
Usually by a lot. Videographer post-production is typically bundled into packages that run hundreds to thousands. Because you already have the footage and we only do the edit, tiers start at $35 for a highlight cut and top out at $100 for a full multi-scene cinematic film — with revisions included. The trade-off is honest: we work from whatever was filmed; we can't reshoot a missed moment.
